Fridays Challenge at CPCM

I had some time today to scrap so decided to do a quick digi page. I am trying to keep up with some of the challenges over at Christian Paper Craft Mag....this was the challenge for Friday.

{ 5 } is the number of Grace. The undeserved, unearned favor of God! (Isn't He great?!) In scrapbooking I always notice that most of the time, we scrap about somebody else, it may be our children, our relatives, our friends, our friends children and the lists goes on. Seldom that I see a layout about oneself. Today, it will be all about you and God's Grace. I would like you to create a layout with 5 random facts about yourself and next Thursday I will do random pick among the layouts submitted and bless someone with a simple RAK.

So I came up with this .....had a hard time finding a pic of me....as I am usually the one taking all the pics!! I'm happy with how it turned out, simple but nice. I enjoyed thinking about Gods grace in my life and creating a layout to remind me of that....

Sketch 59

Here is my layout for sketch 59....this one is of my oldest Emily. I really liked using up some scraps of paper I had to create all the squares...lot's of fun! Go over to TTS and check out the sketch and make a layout or card! See you over there!

This was the last week for LOM over at Big Picture Scrapbooking.....I need to catch up the last 2 weeks....but all in all I really enjoyed the class and have a new attitude and way of looking at my scrapping. I am more organized and have a plan moving forward.....I can finally say I am not behind! Now I just need to make the time to keep up with it!

Weds. challenge over at CPCM

I was able to do the Weds. challenge over at Christian Paper Craft Magazine. It was to do a layout on the word delight.
I chose Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in His way

The pic is of Jacob in the woods last Monday catching salamanders as he loves to do!
I got to use my new paper distressing tool from MM on this one.....I can see myself using this alot!!



I almost forgot.....sketch 58 was posted on Friday and here is my digi layout for it!!! Enjoy!! And have a very blessed day!!

Triple the Sketch....some news sketches!

I just returned from an awesome weekend reconnecting with an old friend and scrapping the weekend away!! What fun!! And I did get alot of scrappin done!! Here are my last two projects for triple the sketch....enjoy!! I'll try to post my stuff from the weekend later!!

Sketch 56 is a digi take on the sketch.


And for sketch 57 I did an altered canvas. This was alot of fun!! I took pics of my 3 girls all at 6 months of age...I have another canvas the same size and I plan to do one for my 4 boys as well! I can't wait to hang these!
