Sketch 54??? Or not??

This was posted on Friday over at Triple the sketch, you might be wondering why my layout doesn't really match the sketch....well I gave Patter the wrong #'s on my sketches this month!! I can't believe I did that.....and Patter is on vacation right now soooo I am so sorry I goofed and hope we can get it corrected when she gets back!!! Enjoy all the great layouts and cards over there!! Lots of eye candy!!!

Altered Notebook...A Prayer Journal

I had such an awesome day today!!!! I got to go shopping at my very favorite scrapbooking store...Memory Lane in Quakertown, Pa!! OHHHH!! It is huge and they have all the newest stuff!!! I am not going to tell you how much money I spent...hehe!! So I need to get my room cleaned up so I can work with my new stuff!!
I just completed this cute altered notebook....I love altering notebooks...so cheap and easy!! And this one is special because I am going to use it to keep track of the scriptures I am praying over the children. Every week I am concentrating on one scripture and praying that over my children. The idea came from this wonderful site.....check it out.. Lifting hands


A short tutorial on how I altered the notebook.....take any cheap notebook (I like the ones I find at walmart and sometimes the dollar store) Carefully take the cover and back off. (you can also do it with the cover on....the paper just won't cover the entire cover.
Use strong adhesive to attatch your paper, I love my ATG gun for this or spray adhesive.
Then decorate as you want.....anything goes.
Now you have a one of a kind notebook to use or gift away!!

I love Scarlet Lime!!

Over the years I have tried a few scrapbooking kits....right now I am getting the one from Scarlet Lime!
Every month I can't wait to see what goodies are in the box!! I love the paper selections and the fact that there is always some really cool embellies...sometimes handmade!! If you have not checked out their kits I really think you should!!!
I did alot of creating on Sunday but it is all for future design team work at triple the sketch so I can't let you peek yet!!
My pocket card was featured on Sat. I am really enjoying the Triple the Sketch design team....they are a group of really talented and Godly ladies....I love the fact that we are all using our craftiness to glorify God!!



There is a new magazine coming out called Christian paper craft magazine and they have a website up with challenges and message boards...check them out!!! Look on my side bar and click to get over there!! I am looking forward to being inspired by all the talent I'm seeing over there!!
Hubby is working the 3 to 11 shift now so I am going to go see if I can't get some scrappin in before bed!!

Sketch 50 and my altered canvas

For sketch #50 I altered a mini canvas...I wanted to post my inspirational verse in my scraproom where I can be reminded daily why I am scrapping and creating! I love the little easel and this was so fun I might be doing another soon!! Isn't the little crocheted flower beautiful...my daughter is making these by the dozen and hopefully will have them up for sale soon!!!

Welcome to the Blog Hop!!!! And An Amazing RAK!!

Good morning everyone!! And welcome to the Triple the Sketch first anniversary blog hop!! WooHoo! Get ready to have some fun....get inspired and maybe win some cool RAKS!!!

First off you should be joining me from the Triple the Sketch blog. This is the starting point for our adventure. So please jump over there and then continue on so you don't miss anything!!

I am so excited to be the first stop on your journey so let's move on to what I am sharing. I did two layouts....a digi and a paper.

This first layout takes us back to the very first sketch posted on Triple the Sketch! Here is a link to that post sketch 1. I used part of the February kit from The Daily Digi made by the-lily pad designs....it's called hop skip and jump and is perfect for this fun photo of my oldest girls.



This next layout is from sketch 25 I used a beautiful kit from scarlet lime to make this paper 12x12 page of my girls in their dance costumes....the tag on top is hidden journaling.



Now for the fun part....my kids came up with a great idea for a fun little game we can play so one of you can win a wonderful basket of scrappin goodies that I am giving away as my RAK.....now look closely at the jar below and try to guess how many buttons are in the little jar....don't count the ones on the table. The first person that guesses the right amount..or the closest amount will win the RAK! Buttons of all sizes are in that little jar! I was going to post a pic of my basket of scappin goodies but the kids thought it would be fun to keep it a mystery.... so to play along leave me a comment with your guess before Sunday night at 8:00pm eastern time. At that time we will figure out the winner and post it then!!

Christopher is memorizing Psalm 145...we all are and he is getting faster then the rest of us!

Just ignore his brother in the back ground....please and my whispers of impending doom to him for being so distracting....it's just another day at my house...full of kids and mischief and hopefully learning Gods word and hiding it in our hearts!! Enjoy!!
