Layouts!

Well it has been quite a while since I posted any layouts! So here are a few I have done lately.....mostly for challenges over at Log Your Memory......I love the fact that they keep me scrapping even when my creativity is low!!

So Log Your Memory was shut down over the weekend for a big over haul! And it was well worth it! You need to head on over and check out all the new things Kristen added! One of them is the memory blogs! Members can now have blogs and we are also having a challenge to kick off  Summer 2010!! I'm back! My Week in the Life Album

Sorry I have not posted in forever.....my Dad was very ill and then went to be with our Lord on April 15th. You can read all about it on my other blog in the post if you want to. I have been doing a few layouts here and there and lots of cards for friends and family that were so kind through everything that was going on with my Dad. I will get them posted eventually.....but today.....I am really excited to share with you my Week in the Life Album!
If you follow Ali Edwards you know she runs this on her blog and this is the first time I have been able to participate and I am so glad I did!
This album was such fun.......during the week and all the picture taking right down to putting it all together and journaling it all! I am thrilled with how it came out!
I used a We R Memory keepers 8.5/11 album and purchased some of Ali's products from Designer Digitals. I made my own templates in PSE8 and used those for the collages. I decided to do a hybrid album and used pattern paper and some flower embelly's to liven it up. Mostly it is about the photos and the journaling. It is well worth the time it takes to document a week in your life.....

The Sweet talk journaling challenges over at Log Your Memory have really stretched me this month! We have covered just about every type of journaling imaginable and i have gotten some really meaningful layouts done.

 

  

  

  

  

I also created this cute wall hanging to give to a friend we were visiting. So simple to make and I even reused an old frame.  

I have a few more sweet talk challenges to finish up and then I will be done......with all the snow I hope there is lots of time to scrap!!!
